could be the next standout linebacker in the middle of the Carl Albert defense. Based on what we saw from May, Davis definitely looks the part and when he got on the field last season, he was very productive. Now, Caden became the school’s all time leading tackler so those are big shoes to fill. But the drop off doesn’t appear to be as significant as we thought it could be. Beau has already earned a handful of D1 offers.

started to emerge this offseason based on his film and measurables as a guy that we needed to know in the 2027 class. Davis already has a handful of D1 offers and then we got a chance to watch him go to work this spring. And he was lining up in that middle linebacker position, occupied by arguably Carl Albert’s best defender in school history over the last few years. And what’s scary for the rest of Class 5A is that Davis absolutely looked the part in that role. So we have him checking in at the linebacker position. But it should be noted here that Davis will also line up at tight end on the offensive side of the ball and could end up being very productive.
