Don’t be surprised if Carl Albert offensive lineman Jax Wilkerson Jax Wilkerson 6'6" | OL Carl Albert | 2029 State OK ends up being the top guy in the state’s 2029 class when it’s all said and done. We were told to look out for Wilkerson around this time last year. He didn’t play much on the varsity level because the Titans had a ton of experience returning on the offensive line. Now, he’s the projected starter at left tackle and should be the foundational piece of this Carl Albert offensive line moving forward. Wilkerson’s recruitment has exploded as top programs across the country see the potential in the Carl Albert big man. And what’s scary is Wilkerson doesn’t have that much varsity experience but the rest of Class 5A is about to find out about Wilkerson.

Carl Albert offensive lineman Jax Wilkerson Jax Wilkerson 6'6" | OL Carl Albert | 2029 State OK comes in as the #2 overall prospect in our initial 2029 rankings. Wilkerson suited up for Carl Albert’s varsity squad but the varsity film is very limited. The Titans brought back their entire offensive line in 2025 and Wilkerson saw playing time but did not start. So it’s pretty rare that a player with a limited sample size debuts at such a high number. But when it comes to Wilkerson, it’s all about his future and what he could end up being when it’s all said and done. All signs point to Wilkerson being potentially the hands down top prospect in this class. He measures in at 6’7 and 275 pounds. He’s a very strong athlete for his age already. Just watch what he does on the basketball floor and you’ll see it. P4 programs have already started offering as he picked up his first offer in June of 2025. Wilkerson could end up being the most sought-after Carl Albert prospect in program history.

Carl Albert’s Jax Wilkerson Jax Wilkerson 6'6" | OL Carl Albert | 2029 State OK finishes off the trio of 2029 offensive linemen that you need to know about already. Like the other two, Wilkerson has already earned his first D1 offers and that list is only going to grow as he gets more experienced. Wilkerson is still very raw from an overall talent perspective but all of the traits for a truly elite offensive tackle are there. He has the size and insane athleticism combination that will make him one of the more sought-after prospects in the nation and not just in Oklahoma. The scary part? Carl Albert is incredibly experienced on the offensive line and he’s a luxury player that the Titans don’t NEED in their lineup right now. Wilkerson is able to learn from every angle of the game and that’s going to make him a more dangerous player moving forward. Every prospect has a ceiling but Wilkerson’s is as high as it can get.
