2029 tight end and linebacker Wyatt Cordray Wyatt Cordray Enid | 2027 OK is another 2029 prospect that is quickly establishing himself as one of the best in Oklahoma. Cordray was offered by OU earlier this summer and it’s pretty clear that his recruitment is only going to continue to take off moving forward. Cordray saw a lot of playing time last season as a freshman in meaningful moments. He had his greatest impact on defense and in special teams. But he’ll also line up on offense for the Titans when necessary. But when we look at Carl Albert going into the 2026 season, Cordray’s biggest impact will definitely be on defense as an aggressive and physical linebacker.

Carl Albert athlete Wyatt Cordray Wyatt Cordray Enid | 2027 OK is the top rated athlete in this ranking update and checks in at #5 overall in the state’s 2029 class. Cordray saw plenty of playing time for the 5A champs last season and towards the end of the season, he absolutely earned his way onto the field and wouldn’t be denied with the way he was playing. Offensively, he’s a physical tight end that has a high upside and could end up having a breakout season this fall on that side of the ball. Defensively, he brings that same physical style and is a hard hitter on a team full of those kind of guys. Cordray has also had a very busy offseason. He’s a solid baseball player as well and recently picked up an offer from Oklahoma after camping with the Sooners earlier this month.

Carl Albert’s Wyatt Cordray Wyatt Cordray 6'4" | 200 lbs | ATH Carl Albert | 2029 State OK is listed here as an athlete and all you have to do is throw on his freshman film and see the first three plays. You see him making plays on offense, special teams and defense. Offensively, Cordray is a big target in the passing game and projects to being a hybrid tight end-type prospect with his size and overall frame. Defensively, we could see Cordray end up moving around and playing a few different positions in the front seven. Cordray is a legitimate three-sport standout with basketball and baseball being his other sports. He’s also a 2029 prospect that was pointed out to us in May that he was one of their up and coming potential stars. We think that it’s only a matter of time before he blows up as a true D1 recruit. He has some impressive tape at the varsity level already.
