Out of the ten prospects on this breakdown, Carl Albert’s

is definitely the most unique weapon of the bunch. First off, he’s been a playmaker on the offensive side of the ball since his freshman season. Carl Albert started playing him on defense as well during his sophomore year and he’s turned himself into a dynamic defensive back. And the most underrated part of Washington’s game is special teams. He’s one of the best punters in the state but over the last two seasons, Carl Albert hasn’t had to punt very much. But when it comes down to it, there is no doubt that Washington is an incredibly special talent and we like him on offense.

to graduate already. Washington has been one of Carl Albert’s best players for three seasons and this year will be his fourth. He burst onto the scene during his freshman season as one of the team’s top receivers. And over the course of the last few years, he’s added many other elements to his game. He’s a standout in the secondary and he’s arguably one of the state’s best punters. Granted, Carl Albert hasn’t had to punt that much over the last two seasons but when they have, he’s a weapon there as well. Washington is also the second of the three commits to Oklahoma and has stayed loyal to the Sooners.

There are a few prospects on this breakdown that we’ve known about since they were freshmen and Carl Albert’s

is one of them. Washington had his breakout moment during his freshman season when he emerged as Carl Albert’s leading receiver in the 2022 season. Now, Washington is a true threat in all three phases of the game. He’s a standout receiver, defensive back and even a punter in special teams. Washington has also grown significantly over the last 18 months and has added quite a bit of muscle to go with his long frame. That makes him a very intriguing prospect to watch when he heads off to Oklahoma next year.

at the wide receiver position. And out of the three Titans in the top ten, Washington has been that guy for the longest amount of time. He was a freshman, leading the team in receiving in 2021 and has just continued to climb the ladder and evolving his game. And just like with Haynes, he also helped the Titans on defense in the secondary and was elite in the special teams department as a punter. And it’s been well documented on this website at this point, but Washington’s physical transformation at this time last year was a big part of him staying as an elite prospect in this class. Washington lived in the weight room and has gotten bigger, making him a very intriguing prospect.

is the third prospect on this breakdown that is currently committed to Oklahoma. Washington has been a player to watch since his breakout season as a freshman. He has continued to grow into an absolute playmaker on both sides of the ball. He’s a special talent on offense and defense. But the most important part of Washington’s game this weekend might come in special teams. Del City has one of the best punt returners in the state and Washington is also one of the better punters in Class 5A. Punting away from Del City’s speed will be important.

is the third Carl Albert Titan to make the top ten and it’s no secret that Carl Albert has an incredibly special 2025 class. Washington has been a 2025 prospect that we’ve liked from Carl Albert since his freshman season. He was the team’s leading receiver two years ago and has only continued to grow from there. We mentioned it a few times this offseason but the physical transformation from Washington has been notable as he’s filled out his 6’3 frame and looks much stronger. He’s once again one of Carl Albert’s leading receivers and last week in the win over Guthrie, he was their most reliable target in the passing game, making catch after catch in a massive 5A clash.

and he has transformed into a promising prospect in the state’s 2025 class. We mentioned over the summer how Washington has obviously putting in the work in the weight room to add weight and become a stronger prospect to go with his size. Washington is the second-leading receiver in the Carl Albert offense. He comes into this week’s game against Bishop McGuinness with three consecutive games of at least one touchdown reception. Washington has also been moved around on the defensive side of the ball and a very underrated element of Washington’s game is his punting. He’s a next level prospect as a receiver or tight end but he’s one of the state’s best punters and that should not be overlooked moving forward.

is on pace to lead the Titans once again in receiving this season. Washington is one of the best two-way players in Class 5A and in the state. Washington gives the Titans a big target in the passing game and a shutdown DB on defense. He might be the most important player in Friday’s game. In addition to his play on offense and defense, he’s also important in special teams. Washington serves as the team’s punter and he’s very good in that department, which will be important in a close and competitive game.
