Tolmaire is one of the best cover corners in the class and was excellent against Oaks Christian. He had two interceptions and one was a very athletic play where he high-pointed the ball like a receiver.

He got beat once for a big play but it appeared to be zone coverage where he thought he had help over the top. Tolmaire also had some tackles on the outside.

Mission Viejo cornerback Trey Tolmaire Trey Tolmaire Trey Tolmaire 5'11" | 165 lbs | DB Mission Viejo | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Boise State on Wednesday.

Tolmaire earned All-County honors by the Orange County Register last season and was an honorable mention on the Prep Redzone All-Junior Defense team.

He also had offers from Dartmouth, Michigan and Northern Arizona among others. He is the second player from California in Boise State’s 2024 recruiting class, joining his Mission Viejo teammate Travis Anderson Travis Anderson Travis Anderson 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Mission Viejo | 2024 State CA .

He doesn’t give up too much ground at the line of scrimmage and he can turn his hips and run smoothly.

Tolmaire is a three-sport guy at Mission Viejo with football, basketball and track.

Tolmaire was a top cornerback for Mission Viejo this season and earned All-County honors by the Orange County Register.

Dartmouth is the third school to offer Tolmaire joining Michigan and UNLV. He has March visits lined up at Oregon State and Cal.
