Expert Analysis
Ed OBrien | Prep Redzone Scout
Fleur finished the 2025 season with 8.5 tackles, four tackles for a loss, six quarterback pressures, and two fumble recoveries.
Fleur’s highlights show that he’s a defensive lineman who plays with power, relentlessness, and nice movement for a player his size. He can either help collapse the pocket or hold up the line against the run.
He wins a lot with raw strength. There’s a rep where he’s shaded over the guard, gets reached by the backside lineman, and just throws him aside to get back into the play. He doesn’t get moved easily, especially when lined up at nose. When teams try to run through him, Fleur plugs the space and forces everything to slow down.
For a bigger defensive tackle, Fleur shows a solid first step. Once he builds momentum, he’s tough to stop. On one rush, he simply powers through the blocker and forces a quarterback hurry. He may not always finish the sack, but he creates disruption that affects the play.
One other thing is certain: Fleur is going to hustle to the football. On his highlights, there’s a sack where the quarterback rolls away, and he tracks him down from the backside for the sack. There’s also a run-away play where he stays active, works down the line, and makes the tackle after the cutback. That effort level shows up consistently. It has to be a scary sight for whoever has the football, seeing this big dude chasing them down.
Fleur does a good job of anchoring as a run defender and doesn’t give up ground. Even if he doesn’t make the stop, Fleur clogs lanes and helps his teammates clean things up. As a pass rusher, most of his productin come from his power rushes. Fleur is effective when he drives blockers back or uses his size to overwhelm linemen.
I’d like to see what his pass-rush toolbox looks like after this offseason. Developing more moves or counters will make him an even more difficult defensive lineman to block. Fleur has the tools to be even more of an impact player on the defensive line.
