is no stranger to the bright lights, and he embraced them after transferring to DeMatha Catholic. Sabb stepped in and led the Stags to a WCAC championship, elevating his profile on one of the biggest stages in high school football.
A versatile quarterback, Sabb is dangerous in the option game and a legitimate scoring threat with the ball in his hands. He combines that dual-threat ability with strong passing skills, showing the confidence to throw into holes in zone coverage and consistently win on timing routes. His poise, athleticism, and ability to operate within structure while also creating outside of it make him a dynamic presence under center.

Tristan comes over to DeMatha after playing at St. Frances last season and looks to take over for the Stags going forward. I recently got eyes on Sabb at some workouts and was very impressed with his throwing ability.
Possesses and extremely live arm, he may have the quickest, smoothest release of this top 5 group. The ball just jumps off his hand with velocity and spin. Tristan can really let it fly, getting it down the field with ease and will be a dart hitting the WR right in stride. A good overall athlete as well, he can make plays with his legs and has a recorded 4.6 40 time. Mechanically Tristan is very sound, showing nice footwork in the pocket and able to flip his hips to generate power and throw effectively on the run. A high IQ player and hard worker as well he is QB coaches dream.
I expect Tristan to adjust easily in DeMatha’s offense as he has a similar play style as former Stags QB

Tristan is a player who I was able to get eyes on for the first time in a while and I came away impressed with his development as a passer. He lead a talented SFA squad to an 8-3 record against some of the top teams in the country, and he rated highly in his performances this season.
The feature that stands out most about Tristan’s game is his live arm. Able to throw off platform/multiple arm angles he gets great zip and velocity on his passes. His deep ball comes out with spin and is a dart, able to layer it over the defenders and hit his WR in stride. A strong runner with a 4.6 40, Tristan can get big gains off of designed runs or scrambling out of the pocket. To add on that, has continued to fill out his frame and get stronger allowing him to be tougher to bring down when running with the ball or evading rush in the pocket. However, he is not a run first QB. Tristan keeps his eyes down field and excels in throwing on the run. Able to flip & get power from his hips when throwing on the run, he gets the ball out quick with speed and celerity.
A QB that is a playmaker, with a strong arm where the ball jumps out his hand. He is accurate, shows polished footwork mechanics in the pocket and when on the move. You can tell he is a hard worker, who plays with a high football IQ and decision making skills. Tristan is a QB that should not be slept on by colleges going forward. I am a big fan of his play style and his potential.

Sabb is a well-known name in the class of 2027 already and is starting off young with the Panthers, very similar to Van Buren. He may be as talented as they come at his position for the ’27 and with a year behind Van Buren and under the SFA staff we could see him light up score boards as early as 2025-2026 season. I won’t be surprised if we see Sabb a lot if SFA is up big against any opponent.
