Grant is the top returning rusher for the Bishop Gorman offense after splitting backfield reps with two seniors last season. The state’s #4 overall prospect should see plenty of opportunities behind what should be an elite offensive line unit and possesses the size, athleticism, and skillset to end his junior season among the state’s most productive rushers. Grant is one of the most heavily recruited prospects in his class holding offers from Ohio St., Oklahoma, Miami, and Texas A&M.

Now he’s not a Colorado player, however this kid is a beast. Measures in at 6’0 215-pounds. 55 carries for 472 yards and 4 touchdowns with 5 receptions for 54 yards and 2 touchdowns, with 1 fumble. Mixture of elusive and power back. He has very good athletic ability due to elite balance, very good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. He consistently gets yards after contact either by breaking tackles, or dragging multiple defenders with him. Very good strength and trucking. Holds onto the ball when defenders try to rip it out. Grant uses his explosive first step paired with very good vision. Very good inside running. Picks, slides, and then accelerates into the hole. If it’s covered, he uses his jump cuts to move to the outside and thrash the defense for a big gain. Very good outside running. Turns the corner and accelerates all the way home using his home run speed. In short yardage situations, he follows his lead blockers gaining the first down or TD. Even hurdled over an OL + DL on the ground for a TD. Productive catching. This kid is a dawg, and we will be seeing him play on Saturdays for a D1 program.

Grant’s shown promising upside as the youngest RB among Bishop Gorman’s 3-headed backfield. The sophomore transfer from Texas runs with speed and physicality with the ball in his hands and holds a future D-I build at 6’/215. He can stick his foot in the ground and explode through the hole and shows good vision and lateral burst cutting to space. Grant- who currently holds five D-I offers- is quickly establishing himself as one of the top RBs in Nevada’s 2027 class.
