Lucas Quintanilla Lucas Quintanilla 6'5" | 292 lbs | OL Saint James Academy | 2028 State VA transferred to Saint James Academy this season from DeMatha High School in Maryland, and he’ll likely be stepping into the starting lineup immediately. His movement skills are incredibly impressive, and watching him zone block at a high level while being so young is a beautiful thing to see.

He’s also an excellent pass blocker, consistently being able to stay in front of and redirect pass rushers to keep the edge clean. It’s clear that he was coached very well at DeMatha, as he maintains great technique in both phases of the game.

Quintanilla could skyrocket up recruiting boards in 2026 with a productive junior season.

Final Five Reps (pass – lined up at left tackle)

First rep: edge lined up wide, Lucas gets right into his kick slide and stops the edge from getting outside. The edge tries to go back inside, but Lucas ultimately stands him up, gets inside hand placement. Second rep, the edge tries to beat him inside, and Lucas impedes his progress. The edge tries to spin to the outside but falls. Lucas controls him to the ground. He has a clean pass-pro foundation (feet, hands, and leverage). Lucas was able to handle both the inside and outside counters. Impressed with his physicality. Worth noting that he is now at the St. James Academy in Virginia.
