While Taylor was probably the best receiver on site for Action in the Park, there was no debate who the best quarterback was,

. The highly regarded Power 4 level prospect looks more comfortable after his first year in the Strivers offense. Carter’s debut season for Saint James was outstanding and he currently holds close to 10 offers! He threw for 27 touchdowns as a junior and has more weapons to play with for his second and final season with the Strivers. Carter is poised to be a Big Ten quarterback, he looked the part on Saturday.

Kash Carter was a name that was thrown around consistently. Carter had a consistent day throwing the football, the Saint James Academy prospect finished 2nd in the accuracy challenge with a score of 22. Standing at 6’2″ 165-Pounds, Carter was one of the smaller prospects in attendance, but impressed with his mechanics and consistency on throws. His footwork when moving outside the pocket was impressive, and his ability to deliver an accurate strike on the money was on full display.

is playing for Saint James Academy. Enrolling in the Spring, Carter had been one of the highly regarded Maryland 2027 quarterbacks and he has not missed a beat over in Springfield, Virginia. In their win Carter had (checks notes) 6 touchdown passes! He sees the field well and has been slowed down whatsoever in a new offense.

has looked the part already in two scrimmages for the Strivers. One of the more accurate passers in the DMV, he already has a number of Division 1 offers. As I said in my opening paragraph Coach Overton gets kids to the next level and in cases like Carter, he will get him Power 4 looks. Right now he has offers from Toledo and Akron but with a season with the Strivers, expect the bigger schools to come calling.

Coming from Maryland, Kash has enrolled at St. James Academy for this fall and is making his Virginia rankings debut. There is a lot to like in his game. He is poised in the pocket. He is comfortable going through his progressions to find the open receiver. With a very strong arm and quick release, he can make throws on all levels on the field. Good ability to extend the play with the athleticism to evade the rush and roll out to make a throw on the run with no drop-off in his accuracy on off-balanced throws. He is accurate on his throws and has room to develop his timing to lead receivers to a spot with anticipation. Overall, a good QB who very well could be a stock riser for us in future updates.

If you haven’t noticed in recent weeks, Head Coach Daryl Overton and his Saint James coaching staff have been on a mission, including nabbing some of the top prospects in the DMV.

was already a division 1 prospect before he announced his transfer, surely will be highly sought after now that he under Coach Overton’s watch. Playing for Riverdale Baptist in 2024, Carter is as good as it gets holding offers from Akron, Syracuse and Delaware State, expect that list to grow exponentially.

Kash is a player I got to see live this year in Riverdale’s big win over Good Counsel in what was one of his best games of the year. He was very impressive that day throwing for over 300yds, 2 TDs on 79% completion. For the season he put up superb numbers going for over 2,200 yards passing, 17 TDs and only 4 INTs.
With a nice long lean frame, Kash is able to stand in the tall in the pocket and let it rip. A great deep ball thrower, he gets it out quick and with a smooth clean release. Puts it on a rope down the middle the field hitting his receivers in stride. Smart with the ball, Kash goes through his reads finds the open man and can laser it into tight windows across the field. He is another QB in this loaded class who has great potential as he continues to develop. Kash has the size, the arm strength, and the high football IQ to be a top QB and one colleges need to take notice of.

Kash had an outstanding game for Riverdale Baptist, helping lead them to a 28-18 victory over Good Counsel on Friday night. He came in and went 22 of 28 for 299 yards and 2 TDs. He put his name on the map with that game and showed why he’s the #4 rated QB in our 2027 rankings.
He was able to push the ball down the field and hit big pass plays for scores. Got the ball out quickly, made smart reads and decisions all game long. Showing off good arm strength/velocity, and accuracy, expect Kash to have a strong 2024 season and be a name to know for this upcoming spring/summer cycle.

Carter lit up the stat column and led all Freshmen QB’s with 2,291 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. He’s impressive from the pocket, he has good pocket awareness, he steps up into the pocket and avoids the rush while keeping his eyes down field to deliver accurate passes. In the upcoming season we will see Carter at Riverdale Baptist, who have a few good transfers coming in including him. So far Carter has 1 offer from Delaware State University.
