2027s Rankings Updates

We will be posting our new 2027 Rankings later this weekend and I wanted to update you on a few changes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115083' first='Kash' last='Carter'] Reclassifying to 2028

Saint James starting quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1115083' first='Kash' last='Carter'] made it official last night that he would be moving to the 2028 class. The FBS prospect ranked 33rd overall in our 2027 class, he will for sure be in our top 10 when the 2028 post season rankings come out. The Strivers will sure have a deep quarterback room next fall, with [player_tooltip player_id='2049023' first='Ethan' last='Hood'] (2030) and [player_tooltip player_id='2156072' first='Brooks' last='Randolph'] (28) already in the fold.

Top players that remained uncommitted

There were a surprising amount of uncommitted prospects I counted 11 in our top 50 alone who have yet to make a decision. Some notables include [player_tooltip player_id='1683727' first='Aveon' last='Cobb'], Ty'Jae Curtis and [player_tooltip player_id='1313460' first='Kevin' last='Parker'], will be curious to see if they make their decisions soon. There was 11 in our top 50 and nearly 30 in our top 100, with all the changes occurring in the NCAA yearly, so many kids still being uncommitted does not surprise me.

Prospects I expect to take a leap or debut in our next update

Varina star safety [player_tooltip player_id='1311662' first='Sa' last='Rex'] should vault up high from his previous ranking, he will be off to Virginia next fall. We anticipate adding more than 50 plus 2027s athletes to this addition. More notable players include Oakton's [player_tooltip player_id='1312792' first='Brayden' last='Vazquez'], Tuscarora's [player_tooltip player_id='1313646' first='Zain' last='Elian'] and Yorktown's Jack McCory.
