Out of all the quarterback prospects I laid eyes on, Ethan Hood might have had the strongest, most pure, arm strength on the roster. I watched Hood, somewhat effortlessly, unleash complete a-bombs downfield without really stepping into his throws or emphasizing his mechanics. Apply those little things, and Hood might be able to throw the ball through a brick wall by the time he is a high school senior.

He was awesome all afternoon, the kid has a rifle and a calming presence under center. I loved watching him take charge during the 1vs1 and the 7v7 portion. Ethan is already 6’0 and has a solid frame, really like his footwork during the individual portion as well. He is expected to play for Saint James regional team and very well could be their starter come week 1. Very impressed all afternoon with Hood’s work, if you live in NOVA you will be hearing about him soon.

Ethan Hood is a spectacular quarterback with good size and an impressive arm. His arm talent sets him apart in the 2030 class out of Virgina and he has the ability to do a lot of things as a signal caller. Look out for Hood in New Jersey for the “RIZE”!

This kid is special and there is no denying it. He showcased that he could read coverages well and can get the ball to where only his players can get it and also showed that he has an arm on him. Yes, he is young and coming out of 2030 but that’s what make this kid a very interesting prospect because if he can do all this now and he barely scratched the surface I can’t wait to see him put it all together over the years and become one of if not the best quarterback coming out of the class 2030. Ethan has a lot of Upside and the Celine is high for him.
