There aren’t many running backs who can maintain their speed in and out of cuts without draining their stamina, as he can change direction. In and out, his cuts are made at a high rate of speed, which is very amazing, and anybody coming his way should know they are getting a true dog at the running back position. Transferring to St. James Academy, Aveon is a name you will want to remember. An elusive running back with speed, he is an offensive playmaker who can be used in multiple ways on the field. He displays very good vision and creative ability in the backfield, with quick reaction to penetration and the elusiveness and speed to avoid a loss. Very good short-area quickness allows him to force missed tackles at the second level, and he has the speed to outrun most he will face on a high school field. While on the smaller side in size, he keeps his legs moving and does a good job at keeping his momentum moving forward through contact when defenders wrap him up.
