Rocco is someone else who could have a breakout season under the new coaching staff at Brother Rice. Last season, he was a serviceable guard, but made some critical mistakes that limits his recruitment quite a bit. To start, Rocco’s very first highlight in his 2023 tape shows him crossing his feet while blocking. That said, Rocco needs to work on his all-around footwork in order to be a college prospect. To pivot a bit, Rocco is an extremely physical lineman who is not afraid to get his nose dirty. I legitimately love how Rocco can engage with a defender and bench press him into the dirt. All in all, Rocco is a mixed bag who could 100% have a breakout season in 2024.
