How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

dynamic and explosive, quick bursts and fast decision-making must make me a tough player to stop

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On the field I show a perfect balance of focus and enjoyment. I’m determined to get the job done, but I also know how to keep the energy positive and connect with my coaches

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not currently involved in clubs or organizations besides Waukee Northwest Football, but I am always looking for opportunities to contribute. I have been recognized for my hard work and dedication through positive feedback from my teachers and peers.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong teamwork skills from playing football, where collaboration and trust are essential. I am also a determined and hardworking person who values leadership and helping others in any way I can. My commitment to improving and staying focused has shaped me both on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced challenges such as adapting to a new environment and balancing my academics with extracurricular activities like football. These experiences taught me resilience, time management, and the importance of staying focused on my goals despite obstacles.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers strong academic programs and opportunities to grow as an athlete. A supportive community, excellent facilities, and a team-oriented environment are essential as I strive to continue balancing education and sports.

Take a look at the tape, and those people will feel quite a bit differently.

Serving as the secondary back as a sophomore, Tobongye took 67 carries for 543 yards (8.1 yards per carry) and eight touchdowns in eight games. In four of those games, he took five or fewer carries. When Tobongye gets going, he looks nearly impossible to bring down. With a mixture of patience, strength to make breaking tackles look easy and breakaway speed, Tobongye is easily a Division I tailback. He’ll be the top option on the ground for the Wolves this year, and he’ll be on major breakout watch this fall.
