Multi-year starter. High-profile baseball talent, could be a baseball guy long-term. Big-time arm talent, can sniff each level of the field. 90+ MPH coming off the mound. Has room to get better as his mechanics refine and tighten. Have always liked the potential here.
Looks the part. Baseball athlete. Natural arm talent with high-level arm strength. 90 MPH in baseball. Longer delivery, but compensates with velocity and life. Drive ball thrower who can fit the ball into tight windows and make tough throws. Touch down the field is adequate and could improve, but doesn’t lack the juice on the ball to get it down there. Tends to miss high, so could cut through the ball better and get on top of it. Experienced, traitsy, and a big-time arm with the potential to make big-time plays with it.

had a tremendous year at the helm for the Purple Hurricanes of Cartersville. His growth and his talent showed as the season went along. He became very confident in his throws and even has the ability to escape the pocket. He’s going to have a big, big year as the signal caller for the powerhouse.
High-profile baseball prospect in Georgia. Good frame at 6’3 190 with room to add more mass and horsepower. Natural thrower. Consistently pumps upper 80’s coming down the mound. Real easy arm strength. Effortlessly launches the ball with a high trajectory. Gets the ball to turn over and drop in the pocket. Athletic enough to move the sticks and work off-platform. He will only improve as he fills out. Holds D1 offers but is nationally underrated.

has one of the best multi-sport backgrounds in the entire state. Not only did he lead Cartersville to a regional title this year, but he is also a premier baseball player in GA. Russell has some serious horsepower in his arm, often touching the upper 80s with his fastball. Russell makes big play after big play with his arm, consistently hitting the deep ball and doing it efficiently. He can launch the ball 50+ yards downfield, as shown on tape, and he doesn’t look to have a problem manipulating touch and trajectory. Russell plays within himself in the pocket and appears relaxed, stepping into his throws and climbing to escape. He does all of this on a 6’3 190 frame. He has a P4 caliber arm and improved from sophomore to junior year.
