Our final tight end is going to be an ace up the sleeve of Union this season.

is an underrated tight end prospect but he also has shown this offseason that he could end up at the next level as a punter. Having a versatile player like that will certainly help Union. But when it comes to being that “ace” up the sleeve, we’re talking specifically about what he can do on offense. Davis is a reliable target that just finds a way to get open. We’ve watched him do it countless times over the last 18 months. And as Union looks to replenish the production they lost at the wide receiver position, that creates the possibility of a breakout season for Davis and he has a strong connection with his QB.

continues to be that guy every time we see 918 Elite in a 7v7 tourney. Davis was featured two weeks ago in our tournament and he was back at it this weekend in Broken Arrow. While Davis’ Union and 918 Elite teammate Boston is more of a big play threat, Davis is about as reliable as it gets as a safety valve in this offense. When they can’t push it down the field, Davis is usually a guy that finds a way to get open and even when he doesn’t, he finds a way to make the contested catch. As Union continues to look for the next crop of pass catchers for this fall, don’t be surprised if this 2025 tight end sees his production go up this fall as they continue to trust him in this offense.

immediately caught our eyes once again. Not only for myself, but for another writer covering the event, Davis caught everything thrown his way and he does that time after time. There’s a reason he continues to be on these breakdowns and is a prospect to watch. He does not hurt your team ever. He might not have the size of other tight ends in this class or jump off the pages athletically but what he does is catch the ball and maximize his size with his catch radius. Davis is a very good football player and he certainly fits underneath the “hidden gem” label when it comes to recruiting. A school will take a chance on him and they won’t regret it.

Our final player spotlight is very similar to the one on Watie earlier. Union 2025 tight end

was a new name for us this weekend but after watching over the two days in Broken Arrow, we came away very impressed and wanting to see more. Davis was incredibly reliable in the 918 Elite passing game and like most good tight ends in a 7v7 setting, he served as a “security blanket” for his quarterback. When the first or second read wasn’t there, Davis would find a way to get open and even when he wasn’t open, he made some outstanding catches. And like most tight ends, he became a big threat when they were near the end zone and one catch in particular had Davis fighting off a defender with one hand and snagging the ball out of the air with the other. Like Watie, Davis will provide good depth to the Union offense this fall.
