Union will benefit from having multiple guys on the roster that will be going into their fourth year as a starter and senior offensive lineman

is one of them. Jones has been known and covered by us for a while now for what he can do on the offensive side of the ball. The versatility is obvious considering he’s played all five of the positions on the offensive line. Then you throw in the fact that Union is looking to Jones to create more depth on the defensive side of the ball and you have an even more versatile player and prospect. While there’s no doubt that Jones’ greatest value comes from the offensive side of the ball, don’t overlook what he can do on defense this fall.

Our final offensive lineman on this breakdown is arguably the most versatile lineman in the state. First off, Union’s

is going to be a four-year starter when he takes the field this fall. And he has spent time at all five positions along the offensive line. This year, don’t be surprised if he also plays on the defensive side of the line of scrimmage. There aren’t many players that have played more positions than Jones over the last three years. And what’s really impressive is that Jones has done it against the top competition in the state at the 6A-1 level. Jones is definitely an underrated part of this 2025 class because let’s face it, he’s a swiss army knife on the line of scrimmage.

is one of the more versatile prospects in the state’s 2025 class. Now, the word “versatile” doesn’t come up very often with offensive linemen but it certainly fits Jones. He has seen significant time at every single position along the offensive line and we wouldn’t rule out seeing Jones playing a little defense this fall. Jones is going to be a four-year starter this fall. After starting for Jenks as a freshman, he has spent the last two seasons at Union and has clearly established himself as one of the best in the state at his position. It’s only a matter of time before college coaches see what we’ve seen over the last several seasons.

continues to impress us every time we see him either on film or in person. When it comes to playing the offensive line alone, so not including defense, Jones might be the most versatile prospect in the state. Jones has played all five positions along the offensive line and he’s never looked out of place no matter where he lines up. As a freshman, Jones started for Jenks on a team that won a state championship. This season, it is clear that Jones has the complete faith of the Union coaching staff as they continue to plug and play him in different spots. The most recent position is the center spot and it’s going to be interesting to see what happens moving forward. Because based on his size, a spot on the interior, whether that’s guard or center seems like the natural fit for Jones at the next level.

The offensive line is the one area on offense where Union has to replace multiple starters but the return of 2025 lineman
Jesse Jones

will certainly be a good start. Jones started as a freshman with Jenks before moving to Union last year. He played right tackle while Bennett Ringleb manned the left tackle position. Jones has been considered by us as one of the top guys at his position in the state’s 2025 class and it feels like only a matter of time before his recruitment starts to take off. The thing that we like about his game is his adaptability and ability to play a variety of positions along the line. Wherever Union needs him, that’s where he’ll play and have success.

Out of the seven prospects on this breakdown, Union offensive lineman
Jesse Jones
Jesse
Jones

Union | 2025
State
OK
has been on our radar the longest. We’ve known about Jones since he was a freshman at Jenks, becoming a rare freshman starter along the Jenks offensive line. After moving to Union last offseason, he also moved positions as he started for the Redhawks at right tackle. With Union losing their left tackle to graduation, we could end up seeing Jones moving over to yet another position as he could slide over to left tackle this fall. That would be pretty impressive when you consider it would be his third position in three years. And he’s had no problems the last two years so it would be even more of a reason to like him at the next level.

on one side of the line and Jones at the other, Union had one of the best offensive line units in the state. Jones is holding on to the top spot at offensive line and similar to a few other prospects on this breakdown, we think that he’s playing tackle at the high school level but he’s more of an interior lineman at the next level. And just like with several of the other prospects, there is so much more room for growth and Jones could very well grow into a tackle prospect.

to be one of the best offensive playmakers in the state. Jones is playing right tackle this fall and the one thing that we’re interested in with him moving forward is whether or not he stays at tackle or if an interior spot on the line will be a more natural fit for him at the next level.
