Orange Lutheran receiver Markus Kier Markus Kier 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Orange Lutheran | 2026 State CA announced his commitment to Princeton on Wednesday.

Kier led Loyola in receiving last season with 949 yards on 75 catches with 11 touchdowns after transferring from Mission Viejo.

He also had offers from Cal, Illinois, Kansas and UNLV among others. Kier is the third player from California in Princeton’s 2026 recruiting class and the first receiver.

Kier rises up the 2026 rankings to inside the top 100 overall. Solid size at 6’2” 190 lbs. with length and growth potential as he develops. Shows he can create separation at all three levels with speed and creative route running. He’s got good acceleration and a hard drive phase off the ball to pressure defenders to transition early. He gets in and out of his cuts with speed while dropping his hip level at the break point to quickly change directions. Plus ball judgement skills, he tracks it well into his hands and demonstrates that he can make tough contested receptions in traffic. Large catch radius and good body control to bring in catches outside his framework. Can pick up chunk yardage after the catch combining his speed and power at the contact point. Had 75 receptions for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior and holds five D1 offers.
