After watching Marion in person this season, there was no doubt that he deserved to be a ranked player in the state of North Carolina. Marion shows excellent speed and athleticism overall, whether it was as a kickoff returner on Special Teams or as a defensive back on a strong Rolesville defense. Marion has excellent instincts no matter where he is on the field, and he’s going to be an impact player period. Marion recently committed to Campbell University to play college football.

Marion was a big-time player in this game. I was very impressed with his straight-line speed – his kickoff return when the game was relatively close at 26-14 after a Butler touchdown was a major turning point in my opinion. Marion also had a big interception that essentially ended the game in the 3rd quarter when Butler was driving and trying to get on the scoreboard after halftime.
