The Stillwater defense has been lights out all season for the Pioneers, forcing turnover after turnover and they were at it again on Friday afternoon. They would force three turnovers on the day, bringing their season total to 42 on the year. One of those turnovers was a Julius Talley Julius Talley 6'0" | DB Stillwater | 2023 State OK interception. Choctaw’s QB had thrown four interceptions this season and the Stillwater defense came away with three on the day. Talley would also come up big on the offensive side of the ball. On a trick play before halftime, Talley would catch a 35-yard touchdown on a pass from backup quarterback Talon Kendrick, who was in the game as a wide receiver. Now, full disclosure, it appeared that the ball came out before he got into the end zone. But the call on the field was a touchdown and that’s the result we’re going with.
