JJ Reynolds can grip it and rip it. I love how quickly he gets rid of the ball, throwing with a fast release and great rhythm, timing and velocity in the short/intermediate game. Very impressive when throwing on the move, where he can roll out of the pocket and hit receivers in stride. High-academic prospect who earned the high praise of the event’s coaches.

He has shown impressive accuracy, showing the ability to fit passes into tight windows where only his intended receiver can catch it. Reynolds has also shown a great feel for pressure, escaping the pocket when needed then either tucking the ball and picking up yards as a ball carrier or finding the open receiver to make a throw on the run. He finished his junior season with 68 carries for 108 yards and three touchdowns. JJ has received some college interest and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up heading into his senior season.

Reynolds has great ball velocity. He’s consistently accurate on all levels of the field even with how much zip he can put on the ball. He was calm and confident throughout the event.
