Jayden Justice Jayden Justice 5'8" | 190 lbs | LB/RB Pikeville | 2027 State KY is another incoming junior outside linebacker from Pikeville who has stood out to me. Justice is very impressive against the run, showing the ability to diagnose the play quickly then take good angles to the ball carrier to get to them quickly. He is a reliable open field tackler once he gets to the ball carrier, finishing last season with 86 tackles and 12 tackles for loss. Justice also finished his sophomore year with three sacks and made an impact on offense, rushing for over 200 yards and two touchdowns. Jayden doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.

Justice makes a considerable difference defensively with his ability to read the offense and make quick tackles in the pocket. I also like how Justice can read the quick pass and tackle the offense for a loss of yards. Justice also showcased his ability to force turnovers with his physical edge.

To wrap up our top five linebackers in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky, I have Jayden Justice Jayden Justice 5'8" | 190 lbs | LB/RB Pikeville | 2027 State KY . Justice played a key role in Pikeville’s 1A State Championship run this past season, finishing the year with 85 tackles and 13 tackles for loss in 13 games. Jayden lines up at outside linebacker where he does a great job of diagnosing the run then using his speed to flow to the ball carrier in a hurry. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he has proven to be a very reliable tackler in the open field. Justice doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch over the next three seasons.

In addition to great size and speed, Justice impresses me with his ability to read the quarterback, quickly shut down the ground game and his ability to stop receivers after the catch. I also like how Justice can breach the pocket with ease, disrupt the short pass and apply heavy pressure on the gunslinger.

Justice had an outstanding year on the Panthers’ defense, proving himself as one of the top tackling weapons on the roster. What makes Justice so impressive is his speed off the snap as well as his physical edge, proving he can blast past the defense in the pocket, stop the rush and consistently apply pressure on the quarterback. Justice’s versatility and ability to read the offense also contributed to his success on the field this past year.

There’s no truer testament to respect and ability, then when an athlete earns the admiration and praise of his teammates. Justice, who was a top performer earlier this summer in the annual Kentucky vs. Tennessee Future Stars Game, wow’d his teammates from that week. At least three other members of the Kentucky Future Stars took to social media to express just how much they thought of Justice, one of them going as far as saying, “he’s the best I’ve played with.” On top of his football talent, the 5-foot-8, 165-pound Justice is also a two-time state finalist in wrestling. Eighth-grade season loading.
