Justice has experience on both sides of the ball, but I really like him at running back. He’s a dynamic, quick back with good vision and does a nice job making one decisive cut before getting north and south. He’s slippery through contact and has a knack for squirming out of tackles to pick up extra yards. He also does the little things well, whether it’s stepping up to pick up a blitz or catching the ball out of the backfield. He runs with good pad level and looks capable of handling a heavy workload without wearing down. He feels like a guy who could carve out a nice role at the next level as a scat back because of everything he brings to the table.

However, he projects best on the defensive side of the ball. Justice is patient post-snap and doesn’t over-commit. He is also reliable when defending the pass and can effectively cover slot receivers, sticking with them throughout their routes. Reacts well when the ball is thrown toward his zone, is great at making open-field tackles, and plays the edge of the field well so that opposing offenses can’t find the edge.

Jayden Justice Jayden Justice 5'8" | 190 lbs | LB/RB Pikeville | 2027 State KY is another incoming junior outside linebacker from Pikeville who has stood out to me. Justice is very impressive against the run, showing the ability to diagnose the play quickly then take good angles to the ball carrier to get to them quickly. He is a reliable open field tackler once he gets to the ball carrier, finishing last season with 86 tackles and 12 tackles for loss. Justice also finished his sophomore year with three sacks and made an impact on offense, rushing for over 200 yards and two touchdowns. Jayden doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.

Justice makes a considerable difference defensively with his ability to read the offense and make quick tackles in the pocket. I also like how Justice can read the quick pass and tackle the offense for a loss of yards. Justice also showcased his ability to force turnovers with his physical edge.

Justice played a key role in Pikeville’s 1A State Championship run this past season, finishing the year with 85 tackles and 13 tackles for loss in 13 games. Jayden lines up at outside linebacker where he does a great job of diagnosing the run then using his speed to flow to the ball carrier in a hurry. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he has proven to be a very reliable tackler in the open field. Justice doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch over the next three seasons.
