Connor Holbrook Connor Holbrook 5'10" | 155 lbs | ATH Pikeville | 2027 State KY has been on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out in Hazard’s win over Pineville last week. Holbrook finished the game as his team’s leading receiver with four catches for 142 yards and three touchdowns. Connor does a great job of using his speed and smooth breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs with ease. He is also dangerous after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big gains. Holbrook also finished the game with two tackles. Connor doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to continue to keep an eye on over the next two years. Holbrook will look to continue to make a big impact for Hazard in what should be a hard-fought second round game against an undefeated Middlesboro team this week.

Holbrook lined up at outside linebacker where he was able to use his speed to blow by opposing offensive tackles off the edge as a pass rusher to get to the quarterback. Connor finished the game with three sacks. He also showed the ability to stop the run, finishing the game with 13 tackles. Holbrook doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect college coaches to be paying close attention to him over the next couple seasons.

He has been a key piece of their offense at receiver during their playoff run, catching 13 passes for 185 yards and four touchdowns. Holbrook has impressive speed which he is able to use to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game and to pick up yards after the catch on short passes. He has also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns during the playoffs and has made an impact on defense, accounting for 14 tackles and one interception which he returned for a touchdown. Connor doesn’t currently hold any offers but he will definitely be a player to keep an eye on over the next few years.

Holbrook is a dynamic wide receiver on offense, showing the speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big gains. He is his team’s leading receiver through the first two weeks, catching seven passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Connor also makes an impact on defense at outside linebacker. Through the first two games, Holbrook has 12 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Connor doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.

On defense, Holbrook lines up at safety where he is very reliable against the run. He does a great job of reading the play and filling the lane quickly to get to the ball carrier. Holbrook finished this past season with 72 tackles and three tackles for loss in 11 games. He also played a role on offense as a receiver this past season, catching 10 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. Connor doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next three seasons.
