From the start, he ran with purpose and confidence, consistently moving the chains and keeping the offense in rhythm. Every time he touched the ball, he found a way to gain positive yardage, showing both patience and decisiveness as a ball carrier while forcing defenders to stay on their heels.

His impact carried through the entire weekend, contributing in key scoring situations with two 2-point conversions on Saturday and adding a touchdown on Sunday. Justice proved to be a reliable and productive weapon, stepping up when it mattered most and delivering steady production throughout. With his ability to control tempo and consistently generate yards, he put together a strong overall performance and showed he can be a difference-maker in any backfield.

Look at the rosters of all the 8th Grade teams in this year’s KYMSFA BOTR, I feel Region 4 was the deepest and most complete team. However, sometimes that doesn’t guarantee victory. After lighting it up and causing a running clock in its 46-6 victory over Region 3 in the opening game, they ultimately fell to Region 2 in the championship game by the final of 26-24.

The 2026 8th grade BOTR championship game took all 40 minutes to determine a winner. Throughout the battle against Region 2, the offense was paced by a strong running attack. It seemed like every time Region 4 needed to regain its rhythm or pick up crucial yards, it was Jameson Justice Jameson Justice 5'9" | 165 lbs | LB Pikeville | 2030 KY getting his number called. Justice was reliable, ran tough and scored a TD in the championship game.

Last June, Jameson Justice Jameson Justice 5'9" | 165 lbs | LB Pikeville | 2030 KY was one of the standouts for the 6th grade Kentucky Future Stars squad in a close loss to their Tennessee counterparts. The Linebackers were arguably the best position group a year ago and the play of Justice didn’t go unnoticed. He played tough against the run and in short distance situations. Watching him most recently at the KYMSFA Battle of the Regions he looked sound and ready to get after it, as an Outside Linebacker. Strong enough to disengage from blocks and then fast enough to get downhill quickly to male a tackle.

Justice was all over the place in the 6th grade contest, showcasing excellent speed and stopping power through four quarters. What impressed me the most about Justice was his ability to make commanding stops at the goal line as well as his efficiency on the run. Justice proved he can pick up speed to catch the rush and protect the backfield.
