is another defensive tackle who stood out as a freshman. He was at his best against the run this past season, showing the ability to read the play quickly then use his strength to shed blocks with ease. Once he sees where the ball is going, he has shown the speed to get to the ball carrier in a hurry. He does a great job of exploding through contact and finishing his tackles with a ton of physicality once he gets to the ball carrier. Jaxon finished his freshman year with 22 tackles and two tackles for loss while also recording two sacks in 13 games. Wells will be a player worth keeping an eye on as his role in the Pulaski County defense continues to grow.

is another North Pulaski Dude playing for Coach Woolridge. Wells is a 6’1,” 215-pounder who plays DE/OT/TE. Wells has been laser timed in the 40-yard dash at 5.2-seconds and has been called by his coach, “The hardest working kid I’ve coached. Wells is all gas, no brakes.“

Any time not one, but two, coaches from the opposing team are asking who a player was, it’s safe to say the player in question left a lasting impression. A year after winning the defensive MVP for the 6th grade Kentucky Future Stars, Wells was back to his old tricks on the defensive line. A big, physical and tough kid up front, he kept the Tennessee O-Line coaches frustrated from the opening whistle to the final whistle.

Wells caught my attention with his electric speed and explosive edge, utilizing his footwork and arms to maneuver the pocket and stun his opponent during one-on-one drills. Wells also stood out with his durability, showcasing his ability to adapt and match his foe’s physicality.

, who took home the MVP award for being one of the top defensive lineman. In addition to excellent size, speed and physicality, what stood out the most about Wells was his ability to learn and adapt to his opponent, using his core strength and aggression to win matchups against some tough linemen. I also liked how Wells used his arms to stun his opponent, proving he was one of the most impactful prospects in the building and deserved to be one of the camp MVPs.
