He’s a Swiss Army Knife who you can plug anywhere and get solid production from. Godby is an impressive defender from the linebacker position, where he showed a great deal of hustle flocking to the football, shedding blocks, and quickly recognizing plays. On offense, Godby is used as a wideout. There, he has proven his ability to slip through the defense as a good route runner with soft hands and speed to help him outrun the defense. He’s another two-way playmaker that opposing teams will have to deal with from this year’s Maroons squad.
