On top of excellent footwork and execution off the snap, what makes Godby so impactful is his ability to shake the defense and get wide open for the deep pass. I also like Godby’s ability to be a reliable passing target from along the edge with his ability to attack the ball in the air.

Boone Godby is another wide receiver that caught our attention with a solid freshman season. Godby finished this past season with 12 receptions for 146 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. He lines up on the outside where he is able to use smooth breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Godby is also impressive after the catch, showing the speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big plays. Boone doesn’t currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.
