Willoughby is a coverage linebacker with fantastic range and stride length. He covers a lot of ground in a hurry. He accelerates quickly and has good closing speed, which gives a defense a lot of options in coverage. He reads the quarterback’s eyes well and isn’t afraid to drive on the football when he sees an opportunity. He’s more than just a coverage player, though. He can come downhill, fit the run when needed, and is a reliable tackler in space. He’s someone I can see that you trust and who comes through in the clutch when you need him the most.
