Quillen is a poised pocket passer who throws a beautiful ball. I’ve seen him work in person a few times, and he’s always impressed. He’s got a good natural throwing motion, good footwork, can go through his progression, and is very accurate. He completed 65% of his throws for Warren Central as a sophomore. Toledo is the first school to offer him, and it won’t be long before the others start coming.

is one of the promising prospects in the Class of 2028. Quillen is still growing and needs to add some muscle to his frame, but he throws a nice deep ball with good timing and touch, and has the potential to break out on the recruiting trail this fall. Holds an offer from Toledo.

is coming off a strong performance against Lawrence North: he was 30-of-46 for 429 yards and six total touchdowns. Quillen is quickly becoming one of the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2028, which figures to be heavy on quarterbacks. Quillen really broke out against a tough Lawrence North defense, so expect him to be a key threat against the ‘Hounds. He currently holds an offer from Toledo.

Quillen gave his offense everything he had on Friday, but it wasn’t quite enough. The offense was hitting big plays, and Quillen was hitting guys in stride all night long. He’s confident and looked good, even when things got chaotic. I like how he stood in there and kept slinging it no matter what. He finished the night going 30 of 46 for 429 yards and 6 TDs. It was an overall exciting game, and Quillen did everything he could.

The first few weeks were up and down for Quillen, but everything came together in week 3 as the offense rolled up and down the field. He threw a handful of TDs on the night, but had an adlived TD where he rolled to the right of the pocket, kept his eyes downfield, and threaded the needle for 6. He also had 2 deep balls placed perfectly for a pair of long TDs. It was the type of game you want to see a young QB have.

Quillen is getting his first full go at starting, and he’s had his ups and downs through 2 weeks, but the potential is there. He tossed his first TD in week 2, and that should be the first of many. Friday will be a big test, and if he stays poised and trusts his talent, he should be fine.

Although he is still developing, Quillen has a chance to be a very good quarterback. Mobile enough to elude rushers and buy time, he can throw on the move and puts good velocity on the ball in the short/intermediate game. He flashes good touch and the ability to drop the ball in the bucket on deep passes. Holds an offer from Toledo.

Quillen throws such an easy ball to catch it helps his receivers downfield. He’s accurate and has nice touch. Where some guys try to fire the ball into a spot, Quillen likes to lead his guys and put them in a position to pick up some YAC. He doesn’t hold the ball and his footwork in the pocket has improved tenfolds since last year. I think Warren Central’s offense has a chance to pop this fall with Quillen leading the way.

Quillen was one of the best players I seen all weekend, regardless of position. He attacked every inch of the field and was particularly dangerous when hitting his deep in-breaking routes. His arm talent is obvious, and he can take the top off the defense on any given snap. He goes through his progressions well and can take care of the ball well. He has a great frame and build that will translate to playing varsity snaps.

Quillen had his moments this weekend where he was dialed in, firing the ball into tight windows, and taking the offense right down the field. While there is room for growth in trusting what he sees, he has the arm to make all the throws. Once he locked in and forgot about what was going on around him, he was a different player. The weather was certainly a factor and to see all the QBs throw against the wind was important, and Quillen was one of the ones who had no issue with the wind.
