Gerard Buckley was a tough cover corner at the Exposure camp. Buckley, a rising junior out of Warren Central High School, has good timing with his hands to break up passes. Feisty and physical, he play play press, jams at the LOS and is a problem for opposing receivers to get around. Really love his quickness and ability as an open-field tackler v. the run. Solid, all-around prospect with a high ceiling.

Gerard Buckley Gerard Buckley 6'1" | 160 lbs | DB Warren Central | 2028 State IN is a talented and strong cover cornerback who shined at the 7v7 early match-ups. Buckley displays excellent coverage skills and very good use-of-hands. He can play press, jam at the line of scrimmage and isn’t afraid of being physical with receivers. Buckley is very good at staying in phase on deep fades, matching receivers and being physical without getting penalized. Coach Whitaker is excited about his potential. Keep an eye on his recruiting to take off this year.

Buckley is very physical in coverage, unafraid to use his hands and get very physical with receivers at the line of scrimmage. Buckley can cover and carry deep routes effectively, times the ball well to break up passes and can play both off/man. Buckley is a must-know name to keep an eye on this upcoming season.
