About Farrell

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am fast and physical while also flying around to the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a laid back and chill, kinda quiet guy. I go to class get my work done go through the day without any problems. I want to succeed at everything I do. I am not an average person. I am an outstanding standing person. That’s what I strive to be. on the field, I do anything to make a play the smart way I do not put the team in jeopardy because it cost games .

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

A and B honor roll since 7th grade ranked 153 out of 843 in my class.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a great leader. I push people to be the best they can be while doing that. I also push myself harder than ever so they could look up to me and my leadership. I do not overuse my leadership. I do not take it for granite because at the end of the day it is not about me. It is about the team and getting the win!

What stands out the most about Farrell Wilson IV is his ball skills and athleticism. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Class of 2028 defensive back is a talented safety prospect and an absolute ballhawk. He can get full extension on interceptions, snatch the ball out of the air, undercut routes and make plays. Wilson has high upside as a prospect especially if he grows over the next two seasons.

Wilson has a good feel for the backend and knows when to come downhill, go up for the pick, swat the ball, and when to let things go. He does a fantastic job staying right in phase with his receiver and you could tell it was getting underneath some receivers’ skin that they couldn’t create any space from Wilson. They won a lot, and part of it has to do with the defensive consistency they have.
