since his time as a freshman at Lawrence Central. Fox is an elite BCS-level talent. While it isn’t surprising to see his trajectory rise, it is surprising to see how much he has grown in the weight room, putting a lot of lean muscle on what used to be a long and lanky frame, without losing much speed. Fox was remarkable yesterday at spring practice, especially in coverage in 1-on-1s v. RBs; he can cover and carry, times the ball well for breakups/INTs, and is a very athletic mover in space. Against the run and as a pass rusher, he is elite. Just a great all-around prospect with a very high ceiling.

has earned his keep as a top prospect in Indiana and could easily become Indiana’s top prospect. His sheer size, arm length and athleticism is through the roof. Fox is a very explosive player who wastes no time getting downhill, forcing fumbles and being an explosive pass rusher. He tallied 98 tackles, 6.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles and two blocked punts last year for Warren Central; expect his production to keep going up.

has shined at Warren Central. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound prospect looks the part of an upper-tier Division I athlete. Fox takes great angles to the ball, wraps up on contact and uses his arm length to disengage blockers, shed and make open-field tackles easily. At 215 pounds, he has plenty of room to grow, add bulk and get stronger in a college weight program.

Fox is a versatile piece for the Warren Central defense, which has continued to come along. He was off blocks quickly last night and helped dominate the offensive line. His length and strength were too much as he got TFL after TFL and a sack. If he continues to play like that, he could rise as one of the top LBs as a whole.

Fox is one of those guys you notice right away because of his incredible length and big-time frame. He looks like someone who’s only going to keep adding good weight and filling out as he develops. With his burst off the line and natural reach, I could easily see him growing into a true edge defender at the next level. He’s got a knack for finding the ball and finishing plays, and he doesn’t get caught out of position much. He put up 80 total tackles with 5 TFLs this past season. He plays with good pad level, uses his hands well to shed, and can flatten out to chase plays down. Fox is right in the heart of the state and feels like one of those guys who is just scratching the surface.
