Finch and the entire defensive line were just too much from the start for North Central’s offensive line. The offense was running for its life all night and had nowhere to go. Lanes closed quickly, and the pressure was relentless. Finch led the way, and he helps create opportunities for others since the offense is so worried about him.

Finch is one of the highest-ranked recruits in the state for a reason. His violence off the line and ability to dominate an offensive line are rare. He’s got 9 tackles, 3 TFLs, forced 2 fumbles, recovered 1, and a pass deflected through 2 weeks. He leads the defense, and North Central can put points up in a hurry.

Finch continues to improve every time he steps on the field. His frame is fantastic, and he’s well-built. He’s explosive off the line, violent, and can play the interior of the line as well as rush from the Edge. I love his raw strength and ability to fight off interior blocks. He always finds ways to disrupt games and has earned the attention he gets. The 3-star recruit currently holds offers from Michigan, Purdue, Miami (U), Tennessee, and Alabama.

The biggest returning starter will be Finch, the outstanding defensive lineman who is arguably the best Class of 2026 prospect in the state and played a huge role in Warren Central’s strong defense. His first-step quickness and ability to get around interior linemen is uncanny. Finch will be the cornerstone of the Warriors’ defense in 2025.
