Seen this young man last season at our Prep Redzone Showcase and he was impressive. He can sling the ball and do it in an accurate manner. He is a guy who I believe is going to be a big year in the 2026 season. He is a leader and a guy who knows how to drive the ball down field.

Since opening their season with a loss to Douglas County, North Gwinnett has rallied off 9 straight wins, with all of those wins by at least 2 scores. 6 of those 9 wins have been by at least 30 points. Rahman has done his job all year, protecting the football and getting the ball to his playmakers, all without playing well into the 2nd half in several games this fall. However, to make a run, North Gwinnett will need Rahman to make big plays down the stretch. Rahman is a thicker-bodied QB with good mechanics and better arm strength than people may realize. He can manipulate arm angles and bend the ball around defenders as a result. He has a chance to make a statement this November.

enters the 2025 season as a rising junior with the potential to become the next leader under center for North Gwinnett. At 6’0″ and 190 pounds, Rahman showed flashes of his ability in limited varsity action last year, finishing with 73 passing yards and a touchdown. He continued to build momentum during the offseason, earning recognition at events like the Brent Key/Corky Kell + Dave Hunter 7v7 tournament, where he displayed poise, quick decision-making, and strong command of the offense.
As the Bulldogs look to fill the quarterback spot for the upcoming campaign, Rahman finds himself in a competitive position battle to earn the reins of a program with high expectations. While he’s viewed as the next man up, he’ll need to prove himself through camp and early-season reps. The opportunity is there, and with continued growth and consistency, Rahman could emerge as the signal-caller to guide North Gwinnett through another tough Class 6A schedule and playoff push.

is the quarterback on the roster that can get it down as a dual-threat, then consider Rahman your traditional signal caller that can sling the ball all over the yard. In that 5-foot-11, 6-foot range and weighing 180-to-185 pounds, he’s a prospect that continues to improve month over month. The big lefty makes the deep ball look effortless, as he possesses a very strong arm at this stage. He played his pre-high school ball for North Gwinnett and has played against or alongside many others on this roster. Chief among those that he’s familiar with, will be running back

. Having QB1 and RB1 from the same regular season team should help aid chemistry and familiarity, given the short window the Future Stars team has to come together as a unit. Rahman also currently already holds a spot on the 2027 PRZ Next National Watchlist.

is a quarterback that plays with a chip on his shoulder. He is technically sound with good feel for the game. He does a good job of throwing his receivers open. He is athletic enough to make plays outside of the pocket. Displayed arm strength to throw the deep outs on a rope and the touch to throw open receivers on deep routes.

My eyes kept returning to Rahman throughout the PRZ Next SE Showcase. Good size on the lefty gunslinger and threw one of the prettiest balls in attendance. Clean and consistent mechanics as well.

. Despite playing on the American team, against his teammate since 7U football, and coming up on the wrong side of the contact, Rahman had a great day. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Southpaw accounted for both of the team’s touchdowns as he went 8-of-12 for 164 yards. Those stats are a bit padded as one of his touchdown passes went for 91 yards, but there’s no taking away from his performance. Showed significantly improved mobility and overall athleticism since the last time I saw him play. He was efficient, smart and made the most of his opportunities.
