There were plenty of flashes for Brown as a sophomore, and he should be ready to take that next stop as an impact player for the North Gwinnett defense. Brown is versatile, but will project out as a box safety/big nickel, given his size and speed. He can thump at contact, immediately stalling driving through ball carriers. However, it’s his range and motor that stick out to me. He carries 200 pounds in a fleet manner and has access to the entire field. I think this is an FBS-level prospect and would track him closely, starting this spring. An early offer from Colorado State helps set the intrigue here.

A playmaking safety with the ability to rush off the edge as well, Brown is a versatile defender who has made a big impact for a really strong North Gwinnett team. He’s a smart defender who can make a play on the football in coverage and make a big tackle in the open field. He’s been really consistent for a young player and has been one of the more productive defenders on the team this season. This promising sophomore has made 47 tackles this season with two TFLs and two INTs to go along with one forced fumble. He’s one of the top 2028 defenders in the county and should see his recruitment pick up in the winter.
