Godfree continues to get better and better, and the majority of that is because he has been able to hit gaps harder as well as prevent the opposing teams from reaching the third level. I feel as if he has improved in almost every physical aspect of the game throughout the season, but the one thing that has really shown is his ability to lead a defense on the field, but quickly take them off of it as well. He is a defensive maestro, and he has quickly become a dominant force. He has true Mike potential at the next level, and will be one that schools will fight over. He was the MVP of the game alongside Braylo, which is why I am splitting these two for this article.

He made an impressive 129 tackles last season with 19 TFLs, six sacks and two INTs to go along with four forced fumbles. He was a turnover machine who holds a giant offer list already. The 6’0 200 Godfree looks and plays the part of a big time LB prospect. Solid build that with one look you can tell he works his tail off in the weight room and has transitioned that to the field where he is having an outstanding Soph season with the #4 AAAAAA Bulldogs.
Great foot speed and nose for the football, Godfree has recorded 76 TT with 8 TFL for the undefeated Bulldogs playing in Georgia’s highest classification. He has also added 2 sacks and 2 INT from his LB spot.
He picked up interest after an outstanding freshman season, picking up offers from Ohio St and Oklahoma among others. P4 Star.
