was a quick choice for this category. The ’26 was all over the field and seemed to be playing at a different speed than everyone else. On so many of his plays you see him attack faster and sooner than the rest of the defense. His ability to read the field or QB and also find the ball is at a special level. To build a perfect prospect at DB you need someone who can process information like Dominick can.

. The 6′ athlete is now up to 190 lbs, looking more and more like a high end DB prospect. As a sophomore Dominick was already looking like one of the best safeties in WI. His football IQ is well developed. He has a great feel for what is developing in front of him, he reads the eyes of the QB, and his reaction time to trigger on what he is reading happens in an instant.
Physically, the incoming junior has excellent range that is amplified by the mental quickness he has. He can go from midfield to the sideline to break up passes. Dominick has shown that he can be shot out of a cannon when coming downhill to stop the run. Walters is also one of the most reliable tacklers in the state. He is a wrap up tackler who will also deliver a big hit every chance he gets. Completing the well rounded game, Walters also has soft hands to create turnovers. Dominick may be slightly undersized at 6′ 190 lbs, but everything on his tape shows that he can play at a high level. Don’t overlook the standout DB.
We are only halfway through the HS careers of these athletes, but it is safe to say that Dominick is going to be firmly locked into a battle for DB1 throughout his career. Dominick has the speed and play recognition combination that will put him in position to play Saturday afternoons at a very high level. Walters is able to get anywhere on the field from his safety spot in time to meet the ball there. Dominick is a playmaker who is able to make the highlight reel plays and make them look easy. You can trust him to cover a deep zone, read the QB, and run deep with a man downfield or attack downhill on an underneath route. He is also an excellent last line of defense against the run game, however he usually closes so fast that he doesn’t end up being the last man to the ball. The potential within Dominick is extremely high. This kid needs to be on every radar.
