About Cannon
Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
It was an impressive breakout as a sophomore for Robinson, who did it somehow quietly. He was productive, but also efficient, protecting the ball while completing a high volume of passes. Robinson is a calm, composed player in the pocket who can click through reads and work the entire field without seeming panicked. His touch over the top really grabs my attention, consistently dropping it in over DBs to give his receivers a chance at the ball.

is one of the many players who have caught my attention. He plays at Westlake and made a name for himself last season. He has one of the better arms in the state and is a natural talent that has a sky-high ceiling. There aren’t many more polished in the 2028 class, and he will only be better in his junior season. If Robinson hits his max potential, he will be one to watch to make a move for the No. 1 spot, even though we have him ranked at No. 8 currently. Make sure you are keeping tabs on the Westlake quarterback in 2026.

Robinson is another gunslinger who made the most of the cards that he was dealt. Robinson is a guy who remains a top player in the state. He has a solid frame and continues to improve his traits. His dropback is one of my favorites in the state, as he glides nearly. Robinson has a shortstop line drive of an arm at times, which is awesome to see, as he doesn’t have to plant his front foot to generate power. He is usually cool, calm, and collected in the pocket, which is what you want out of a younger guy in the system. The trajectory that he gets the ball at is beautiful, and I believe he will be a guy who has the chance to level up. I expect him to cause some more issues for these defenses.

One of the top overall quarterbacks in Atlanta, Robinson is fresh off a breakout sophomore season where he lit up the stat sheet and ended the regular season as the No. 3 leading passer in the 6A class and the No. 1 leading passer the entire 2028 classification. The promising, talented passer for the Westlake Lions threw for over 2,700 yards and 26 touchdowns through the air this fall. The 6-foot-1 180-pounder loves airing the ball down the field and does it with impressive accuracy and precision. He throws a catchable ball and should be even better next year as a junior. Don’t be surprised if his recruitment really picks up this winter.

This gunslinger is becoming one of the better young guys in the state of Georgia. He has been one of the more productive players in the state and is one of the younger QBs in his area. He plays for a well-coached Westlake team that relied heavily on the weapons that they had last season like Travis Smith. Now they are able to focus on their QB and the weapons as a whole around him. He is one of the better players when it comes to his deep ball, and he is also someone that has good size to him. He could absolutely be something if he continues at this rate.

An athletic quarterback with impressive mobility and above-average arm talent, Robinson is one of the top young passers in Atlanta who has played extremely well through the first five games of his sophomore season. The playmaking quarterback can make plays outside of the pocket and has enough arm strength to push the ball vertically. He’s thrown for 1,234 yards and 14 touchdowns already and is fresh off a monster game against Roswell where he threw for 375 yards and four touchdowns. His best football is still way ahead of him and he’s currently ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 10 QB prospect in the state for the 2028 class.

Robinson is one of the more noteworthy 2028 QBs in the state and is breaking out on varsity through 3 games. Robinson is a natural arm talent and a loose athlete. He makes impressive off-platform throws and is tough to corral when the play breaks down. The physical traits have always been the main selling point here, and now, he will have some production to back up the hype.

The 6’1 180 signal caller got a taste of varsity action last Fall throwing for over 200 yards and a couple of TDs. All indications are that ’25 is his year to shine. He has had an outstanding off season earning MVP at the Southern Exposure Camp as well as hitting the Camp circuit hard over the Summer. Great natural instincts with a “cannon” arm.
What Stands Out: Athleticism, Composure, Leadership. He carries himself on the field with a maturity level beyond his years. Great natural instincts at the QB spot.
Outlook: Colleges, including Georgia State, have already taking notice of this rising Sophomore. As he transitions into the QB1 role his stock will climb. One to watch.

One of the top young quarterbacks in Georgia, this promising passer from Atlanta brings goos size for his age at 6-foot-1 175-pounds with natural arm talent. He shows good ball placement down the field, impressive pocket presence, and loads potential. He saw the field a little bit as a freshman last fall, throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns, but could be even better in year two as a sophomore. He’s in the drivers seat win win the starting job at Westlake and could see big offers come his way over time if he continues to add muscle mass and develop more and more as a passer over the next three years.
