Caine Woods was certainly one of the signal callers who put the state of Georgia on notice, and it wasn’t just the fact that he was the state’s leader passer, it was how he did it and also the fact that he was an underclassman. He did it like a veteran and Georgia has such an amazing quarterback 2028 class. Woods was making passes from the pocket, on the run, off of scrambles and just simply doing things that a lot of quarterbacks can’t. Woods believe it or not will top that season, and I believe he elevates his game to a higher level this fall. Stay tuned!

It is ridiculous that he is outside of the top-50 when it comes to production, but it is safe to say that he will be the best player in the area, and will be the player who could rise the most this season, thanks to having a great group of wide receivers and a great offensive coordinator.

With two more seasons remaining, Woods is one of the players who could help this team return to its glory days. Woods is a dual-threat quarterback who will dominate defenses in both the rushing attack and the passing game. Woods will be working under a new offensive coordinator, but that doesn’t mean his talent goes out the window, as he could be great in almost any offense. It is no secret that the Catamounts gunslinger is one of my favorite quarterbacks in the state, and he will be one of the quarterbacks who prove his worth yet again in 2026. New offense, no problem for this gunslinger. Caine is repping a new number (7), but even with the new number, he is easy to spot among the quarterbacks.
