I got the chance to watch this young man play a couple of times last season and he certainly has a great deal of talent, and he is someone I really feel like is slightly underrated in many ways. He has a great mix pocket presence and scrambling ability to be able to extend plays. He is a signal caller who has a high IQ and a fearlessness in his style of play. I really believe he will have a big off-season and a big-time season in 2026. Be on the lookout for what he can do, and I encourage anyone to go check him out this year.

A quarterback on the rise out of East Paulding, Spence is a promising passer with a good frame, natural arm talent, and the potential to have a really nice sophomore season next fall. He flashed some as a freshman last year and should take over as the full-time starter in 2025. His best football is still years ahead of him and college coaches are starting to notice. He’s ranked as the No.10 QB in the state for his class and added a recent offer this week from the Duke Blue Devils.

One of the top young quarterbacks West of Atlanta, this talented East Paulding passer showed a lot of potential last year as a freshman, being careful with the ball while getting the ball out quickly to his receivers. He was accurate, completing 67% of his passes, which is an impressive number for a freshman. He throws well on the run, shows good pocket presence, and could have a really big sophomore season in the fall if he continues to add weight and improves his arm strength. Look for Spence to lead East Paulding to a strong season in 2025.

was one of the most productive freshman QBs in Georgia this fall. Here is my eval on Spence:

will be one of the most productive GA signal callers in the 2028 class once the year ends. East Paulding is off to a hot start, and some of that can be credited to the efficient performance of their freshman signal-caller. Spence is still developing athletically and in the arm strength department, but he possesses fine footwork and awareness in the pocket. Even with a smaller frame, he stands tall in the face of pressure and accurately delivers the ball. He compensates for his developing arm strength by getting the ball out quickly and playing in good timing with his WRs. He looks to have a solid grasp of the position at a young age, which will go well for him as his physical traits start to come around.”

The 6’2 178 QB is another name Redzone has been on since this off season. Spence has a great pocket presence, especially for a freshman, and plays with confidence. Spence got to start a couple of games this season throwing for 578 yards on 61 attempts with 7 TDs to just 3 INTs. He has good footwork in the pocket and is a threat to run, gaining 50 yards on 6 carries.
Outlook: Spence has the polished look of a coaches son. He posses good size and mechanics at this age and will be competing for the starting job this Spring at East Paulding. Good upside with next level potential.
