Expert Analysis
Bryan Ault | Prep Redzone Scout
Herron is regarded by some as the #1 prospect in the class of 2026 in Indiana and for good reason. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound right tackle is a mauler, running his feet on contact and paving the way for the Warriors’ rushing attack. Herron – who has committed to Notre Dame – has a quick first step, comes off the LOS with a flat back, and is above-average in pass protection.

The 6’4″ mammoth of a man is developing into a nightmare for defenses. The 3-star recruit has always had fantastic footwork and hand-placement for his age. He’s quick off the line and has a good head on his shoulders. He’s able to play both sides of the ball and is a guy who is nimble enough to play on the interior, but with his length will likely protect the exterior. With offers from Northwestern, Iowa, Boston College, and West Virginia, the race for the Warren Central stud is on and it’ll be a good one to watch.
