BradleyButts waited his turn to fully showcase his ability as a football player, but the patience paid off with a big senior year for Spring Mills. Size limitations may hurt his college prospects, but flip on Butts’ tape and you can see clear ability. He did a great job stepping up at linebacker this season for the Cardinals and likely has the athleticism to slide back to safety or play a Nickel role for a D3 program.

2026 ATH/LB Bradley Butts Bradley Butts 5'6" | 170 lbs | ATH Spring Mills | 2026 State WV saved his best for his final high school season for Spring Mills. The first half of his senior year was very productive on both sides of the ball. Butts is an unconventional linebacker at 5’6 170, but could play safety at the D3 level and would be a great Spring Football prospect at his size. He can cover ground quickly and isn’t afraid to muck it up between the tackles in run defense. Butts pursues the ball with high effort and plays well in space, which speaks to his athletic ability and potential to play safety in college.

Bradley Butts Bradley Butts 5'6" | 170 lbs | ATH Spring Mills | 2026 State WV has been on our radar for a while now and has yet to make the rankings, but he’s someone who could quietly have a very good year for the Cardinals. Size is his biggest hurdle as a prospect, but Butts is a good athlete who can fill in at a few different spots. Butts may start at linebacker even as a smaller athlete, which speaks to his toughness and fearlessness. He’s someone who D3 programs would find a lot of value in and should be keeping tabs on this season.
