DJ possesses good size and length for the DB position at 6’1″ and 180 pounds. He moves very well with smooth footwork and loose hips. Mayer’s strength also allows him to effectively press receivers at the line of scrimmage. At receiver, I was impressed with DJ’s route-running ability as he showed he can run a full route tree and create separation from DBs. Get after this guy asap!
