There’s still plenty of development ahead, which is expected at this stage, but the tools are easy to spot once you watch him move and compete. Swayne flashes early size, athletic ability, and the kind of foundation coaches can work with early on. This camp should give him a great opportunity to measure himself against a strong group of linemen and see how his game responds to higher-level competition.

He became a varsity starter in his freshman season and showed early upside and potential against a tough schedule. While Swayne took his lumps at times, he hung in there and produced quality film for a young lineman that you can confidently project into a bright future as a player and prospect. His athelticism for his age playing tackle was impressive and showed in his footwork and pass pro reps.
