Mehm who was long in a WR room that featured 2 P4 prospects and multiple other college football players broke out as a Senior as St. Anthony’s WR2 and his performance during the season and some work I saw at camps in spring is good stuff. A well rounded receiver who can separate and has strong hands with the ability to make plays in traffic.

This offseason has been a statement by the Friars receiver. On monday two things really stuck out to me with his game, number one was his consistency and the second aspect was his speed. When it came to his hands, Mehm put on a performance as good as it gets. He didn’t drop anything towards his direction, and he was able to haul in passes after running short, intermediate and deep routes. I was impressed with Mehm’s run after catch ability during this session. There were multiple instances where he made a small gain into something big for the Friars offense, look out for him in space.

Last year St Anthony’s had the best wide receiver room in New York and they were loaded with senior talent. Now that all of those seniors have graduated we see who’s up next and it looks like

is going to be in for a big year. The talented receiver has made his presence felt at a Prep Redzone showcase earlier in the year and the Downstate Classic. At the 7v7, he had a bunch of catches. He started off the first 7 on 7 with a long touchdown, burning his defender downfield with his north-south speed. Mehm ended up being one of the most reliable receivers making some difficult catches and creating separation all night long.

is an interesting prospect because he is a really smooth athlete that runs good routes and performed really well at the PrepRedzone showcase. But he plays with three guys who play TE/WR ranked in our top 30 between the class of 2024/25. There may not be a lot of opportunities for Mehm but at the same time could really benefit from teams giving St. Anthony’s top prospects a lot of attention. There is a potential role there for Mehm to carve out and he is a name to watch this fall.

was a really smooth route runner and did a really good job of making plays at all three levels. Mehm was consistent and was a really tough for DBs to cover. His size and speed were on display and he showcased some really soft hands.
