St Anthony’s
Duff stepped out onto the field and he proved why he’s the top ranked player in the state. There was a stretch where the Westhampton defense was playing terrific and shutting down the Friars but that all stopped very quickly. Duff had a sequence of plays where he took over for St Anthony’s. His run after catch ability is so underrated, after he caught a pass over the middle, Duff made a man miss and he was off to the races. He then showed why his redzone presence is some of the best in the tri state area as he caught a couple of short TD’s

One of the smoothest QB’s during this 4 team 7v7, Nash keeps on getting more confident each time I see him play. He was great in the redzone for the Friars. On a play inside the 10, Nash did a great job with a pump fake which got the Chaminade safety to jump out of position and it let Nash drop an easy dime to Braden Mehm Braden Mehm 6’0″ | 190 lbs | WR St. Anthony’s | 2024 State NY . The connection he’s created with Mehm has been an excellent combination. Nash also had a terrific throw to KJ Duff in the opposite corner of the end zone, to where only Duff was able to go and get.

This offseason has been a statement by the Friars receiver. On monday two things really stuck out to me with his game, number one was his consistency and the second aspect was his speed. When it came to his hands, Mehm put on a performance as good as it gets. He didn’t drop anything towards his direction, and he was able to haul in passes after running short, intermediate and deep routes. I was impressed with Mehm’s run after catch ability during this session. There were multiple instances where he made a small gain into something big for the Friars offense, look out for him in space.

I got to see the signal caller from Oceanside at the Long Island Quarterback Challenge and at this 7v7 session on Monday and I was quite impressed by the 2026 prospect. At the quarterback challenge, I was impressed with Harmon during the anticipation drill and that translated to this 7v7. His timing was excellent with his receivers, and he put the ball in fantastic spots. He also showed great touch as he threw a great ball where he let his talented receivers go up and make a play. His development has been amazing so far this summer, expect a big sophomore campaign.
The new addition for Oceanside looked extremely dangerous during these 7v7’s. The tall receiver had some of the most athleticism on his team. His leaping ability was excellent as he was able to consistently jump higher than defenders to make a play. Paris did a great job at high pointing the ball. He came away with very tough grabs in tough coverage, he looked like one of the best 50/50 jump ball guys out there. He was effective wherever he lined up as he was helping Oceanside move the ball against three elite defenses.
Brian Kraemer

One of Oceanside’s top players for this upcoming season. Kramer has experience headed into his senior year and he’s one of the most polished route runners on an Oceanside team that is going to love to pass the ball this upcoming season. He’s gaining plenty of chemistry with Shane Harmon and I’m expecting Kramer to be a reception machine for Oceanside. On defense he’ll be one of the leaders for this secondary. He made a lot of good open field tackles last season and during this 7v7 he had a couple iof key pass breakups and was the leader for the Sailors.
