Brighton vs. Fairport: Who Impressed?

<p>It was a productive outing for both Brighton and Fairport, as they were able to put together productive drives. The players competed with a high level of energy, while several delivered big hits on both sides of the ball. Take a look below at the play Friday evening!</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Brighton Bruins:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">For the Brighton Bruins, they were able to make some explosive plays on the ground and through the air. By and large, [player_tooltip player_id='742769' first='Justin' last='Medina'] looks fresh and ready to go, as he had a huge run for a TD. Shaking off tacklers in the hole and making defenders miss. The run showcased Medina's ability to break free with elite speed and evade defenders. </p>    <p></p>    <p class="text-gray-700">WR [player_tooltip player_id='2366412' first='Coles' last='Hudson'] was also a major contributor, as he made an incredible leaping TD catch in the corner of the end zone. The ability to trust this WR in redzone situations will be one to watch this season in these </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">For the same reason, helping create the lane for Medina was OG [player_tooltip player_id='2366416' first='Justin' last='Fraguada'] as he moved his defender out of the gap quickly. Creating lanes for Medina in the gaps will be key, and Fraguada will be trusted upon.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='2366420' first='Leo' last='Hopkins'] got into the mix early with a couple of big hits over the middle that did not go unnoticed. The ability to cover over the middle and in the lot will be there. He will be a key piece this season for the Bruins on both offense and defense.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fairport Red Raiders:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">QB [player_tooltip player_id='2366433' first='Lucas' last='Duso'] was operating well with good intensity and quick throws. Further, Lucas was running with aggressive behavior, lowering his shoulder to pick up extra yards. One drive ended with Lucas finding the end zone himself on a rushing touchdown. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Equally on the receiving end for Fairport was TE/DE [player_tooltip player_id='2366446' first='Ryan' last='Sullivan'], who made a strong catch over the middle while taking contact for two defenders. Sullivan also provided good pass rush sets when operating at the DE position, showing speed and active hands. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Recap:</h2>   <p>Both teams put together quick drives in the start, and their number two players did make some plays when they got the opportunities. Brighton has shown the ability to put up a lot of points. No doubt their offense this season will continue to score, especially through the run game. For Fairport, they are an aggressive team that will attack.
