Diieso was the QB name in attendance at Temple this past weekend, and the St. Anthony’s QB deserves it after an impressive Sophomore Season. The 12th best QB in the 2028 Class, stands at 5’10” 170-pounds, and displays a solid build for a QB prospect. Diieso sat down with Prep Redzone, to discuss his visit to Temple.

After leading his team to the Catholic League Semifinals in his first year as a starter, we were able to get a better lock at Diieso in Warwick. His combine numbers were impressive, and he reached near the top of the leaderboard in multiple drills. The Friar QB, showed good mechanics on his throws, and I like his ability to sneak the ball into tight windows. His accuracy and strength were evident throughout the afternoon, and he showcased why he is one of the top in-state 2028 QB’s.

The Friars Sophomore QB, has broken out this season, and is one of the top QB’s in the Catholic League. In St.Anthony’s win over Fordham Prep, Diieso went off and helped lead his squad to victory.

The Sophomore QB, completed 16/20 passes, for an 80% comp percentage. He had three total touchdowns through the air, and threw for 225 yards. On the Ground he added 3 carries for 13 yards.

Diieso, has really come into himself late into the season. The Sophomore QB, has put together a solid last few games, and looked good against the Crusaders.

Diieso, is a valuable asset in the RPO/Option game. He can run, and use his legs for gains. He is a physical runner who can take hits. As a passer, he has solid arm strength, along with good accuracy. I like vision, and he feels pressure well in the pocket.

On the ground, he carried the ball, 11 times accumulating 93 yards and a touchdown. Through the air, the Sophomore, completed 15/16 passes, 158 yards and three touchdowns.

Diieso is a prospect who can easily see himself move up rankings as the season progresses. Last season, he sat behind one of the top QB’s in the state, allowing him to learn under a top system. In his first year of starting, his consistency stands out over his stats. Despite this, the Friars QB, has showed early promise, with 694 yards, with one touchdown, and one interception, through the air and ground.

Diieso, excels in the RPO game, where he displays a quick release and an accurate throw. He has good vision and can anticipate a route, allowing his receivers to get open. He shows great poise and confidence, throwing into tight windows, and doing so with accuracy and ease. Diieso is a QB who intrigues me, as the future of the QB position the next two years at St. Anthony’s is his.
