Background: Dawson is a player who can play at WR/TE/DB for the Friars, and I expect him to step into a big role this season for St. Anthony’s as a Junior, and he is a name to watch in this 2028 class.

Measurables: Standing at 6’3,” he is a lengthy tall prospect who has excellent height for a WR prospect. His weight at 195-Pounds is excellent for a WR, but he can look to add more muscle, as he is a thinner/lengthier prospect.

Evaluation: Given his frame, Dawson is a true outside receiver who can be used as a real jump ball threat. He works well in space, and is excellent at racking up catches. After the catch, he showcases solid speed, and a good burst, but is not the fastest player on the field and can look to add more speed and burst to his game. He displays excellent body control, and can make catches with his body contorted. His IQ is special and he can read a defense and understand how to sit and dominate space. Dawson is a player I expect to have a massive season for the Friars.

The 2028 St. Anthony’s Prospect, showcased an elite build with a thin frame which could see some added weight in the near future.

Tyler Dawson Tyler Dawson 6'3" | 195 lbs | WR/ATH St. Anthony's | 2028 State NY had an elite showcase, and during the combine testing portion, ranked in the top 60 in each drill. His speed, and footwork off the line, was a big strength, as was his catching in traffic during the showcase.
