Blake is an impressive athlete from Anoka, MN. He is a team captain for football and track. He is listed as the #1 pole vaulter in the state of MN. His position breakdown is QB/WR, so you can guess that he brings a certain level of athleticism to the field. Sunday he gave us a glimpse of that level of athleticism. The 2027 ran a 4.75 40, jumped out of the gym with a 38.4″ vertical and 9’7″ broad, to go along with a 7.25 L-Drill, and 4.44 shuttle. Blake checks the boxes of long speed, change of direction, and acceleration. Don’t sleep on the Anoka multi-sport standout.

Anoka struggled to a winless record in 2025 largely due to porous struggles on the defense, but the offense played brilliantly with Blake Sieben Blake Sieben 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB/ATH Anoka | 2027 State MN finishing as one of the most productive QBs in the state. Sieben threw for 1915 yards, 16 TDs, and 8 INTs while rushing for 610 yards (6.3 YPC) and 8 rushing TDs. Sieben is an intriguing athlete, with 4.7 40 yard speed, Sieben is dangerous when he tucks the ball and keeps it himself, as he is able to break away from the defense with fair ease. Sieben has a great arm and shows tremendous playmaking ability on the run, utilizing his scrambling ability to roll out while keeping his eyes down the field and dropping a deep shot into the receiver’s arms in stride. Sieben is a talented QB for a losing team that could spark a major turnaround for the Tornadoes in his senior season.

It’s a bit of a toss-up for who will take the coveted QB1 job for the Anoka Tornados, but the likely winner of that role is talented junior prospect Blake Sieben Blake Sieben 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB/ATH Anoka | 2027 State MN . His sophomore tape is very exciting. His arm talent is legit, and his pocket presence was high-level, especially for a JV QB last season. He’s got a lightning-quick release, doesn’t falter under pressure, and can deliver dimes while evading defenders outside of the pocket. Sieben’s ball placement, particularly on deep balls, is fantastic, and I think he could do great things at the helm of the Tornados’ offense.

Anoka – a 2024 Class 6A state quarterfinalist – has quite a promising 2027 class rising up through the Tornadoes ranks, many of whom got their first taste of varsity action throughout Anoka’s memorable run at the state title this past season. One of the Anoka sophomores we’re most excited about is QB/WR Blake Sieben Blake Sieben 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB/ATH Anoka | 2027 State MN , a 5’11, 165 lber. with some varsity experience, solid tape, and good athletic data backing him as an underclassman. Sieben sniffed out 7 completions on 9 attempts for 124 yards and 2 TDs, as well as 7 carries for 63 yards with Anoka’s varsity, and he was prolific with JV, passing for 1,944 yards and 14 TDs and adding 447 rushing yards and 8 more TDs on the ground. He had a good showing on both the track and a PrepRedzoneMN Showcase in 2024 too, popping off a 13’6″ pole vault last spring, good for 4th all-time at Anoka. He also went 4.72 in the 40, 4.57 and 4.53 shuttle, and 9’3 and 9’4 in the broad jump. Talk about impressive!

Sieben displays a good arm that can stretch the field with accuracy and touch and put good zip on the ball to fit the rock into smaller windows. He’s able to extend plays with his legs and throw a good ball on the move and will stand in the pocket and deliver throws through pressure and oncoming hits with accuracy. Plus, he’s fast, elusive, has good vision, and is quick in the open field, able to run with patience and manipulate space and defenders to find paydirt. With long-time starter Peyton Podany Peyton Podany 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Anoka | 2025 State MN off to SJU to play basketball, Sieben looks like the heir-apparent to take over the reins of Anoka’s offense, and I’m confident in saying that the offense looks like it’s in good hands. Sieben has all of the makings to keep climbing up the 2027 Big Board.
